    Interviews will take place in the Student Union on February 28-29 and March 1st in the Student Union River Room. Everyone that fills out an application will get a link to sign up for an interview.

     

    Gamma Chi Counselor Job Qualifications:

    • Loyal and involved member of a Panhellenic sorority
    • Desire to promote the entire Greek system
    • Positive attitude
    • Excellent listening and communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Sincerity and honesty
    • Willingness to completely disaffiliate from own sorority
    • A positive role model to Potential New Members

     

    Gamma Chi Requirements

    • Minimum of a 2.5 grade point average (cumulative and/or previous semester) - NO EXCEPTIONS.  Grades will be verified.

     

    • All applicants must be active and initiated members of a ULPC women’s sorority, able to attend all training sessions and membership recruitment.

     

    • Must have participated with your chapter during a prior formal membership recruitment.

     

    • Must attend all required events including the training sessions and the overnight retreat.  You will also be expected to attend phone calling, orientations, PR events, Team Building Events, and participate in task updates.  Fines will be assessed for each missed event.  More than 2 absences will result in removal from the team. The third absence will result in removal from the recruitment team.

     

    • Must live with the Recruitment Team for the entire required stay.   Must adhere to a curfew of 10:00 PM beginning the night before Open House Day until Bid Day Morning.  Must turn in labeled cell phones before preference parties begin and will be given back following bid distribution.

     

    • Everyone is expected to adhere to the high standards of conduct and living by the Panhellenic Creed.  This means that everyone should live up to the expectations regarding human dignity, responsibility, education and sorority pride.  This includes, but is not limited to, avoiding use of alcohol during membership recruitment and representation of Panhellenic in a positive way throughout the term served on the Recruitment Team.
